BURLINGTON, ON CANADA – (May 6, 2020) – Qwhery, who recently announced their emerging partnership with Esri, the global market leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, along with SaFuture Inc has just launched a new platform to help inform people with up-to-date COVID-19 stats and information, directly to their mobile devices via text message.

Anyone can register to receive free COVID-19 alerts or daily and weekly summary notifications for confirmed cases, recoveries, tests and deaths within their Health Region in Canada or their county in the United States.

Q11 is connecting municipalities directly with residents

With the vast array of information at our fingertips today, people expect near-instant answers to their questions to local government. Even basic, everyday inquiries become all the more urgent in times of crisis, and to an extreme, the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the key responsibility that municipalities have to keep residents informed in a timely manner.

New Esri Partner is Connecting Smart Homes with Smart Cities Through Voice Assistant Technology

BURLINGTON, ON CANADA – (March 4, 2020) – Qwhery, a leading #VoiceFirst service provider has been selected to join the Esri Startup Program, a three-year program that helps emerging business partners bring new and innovative products to customers of location intelligence world leader Esri.

Qwhery is launching a set of skills called Q11, for voice assistant technology that connects authoritative municipal open data to Alexa-enabled devices, in homes or on mobile phones. In short, these Alexa skills offer a new channel for residents to ask their municipality questions about city services or submit service requests via their Amazon Echo devices. Qwhery has integrated these Alexa skills with the Esri Geospatial Cloud, a complete platform that provides mapping, business intelligence, analytics and IoT software.
